Do you think God hates you? Do you think He's mad at you? He doesn't and He isn't. There is not one person on the face of this planet that God doesn't love. You haven't done anything He hasn't already forgiven you for. ANYTHING. But you have to accept His forgiveness. "Yes, but I abused my daughter." He covered that. "I'm a heroin addict and a prositute." Taken care of. "I've got AIDS!" He already provided healing for that. There is not one thing you've ever done that shocked God. When Jesus was hanging on the cross He looked across the centuries and saw you. He took your sin and your sickness once and for all. You just need to accept His sacrifice on your behalf. And here's the best part: it's easy.

Romans 10:9-10 says, "That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." You know who wrote that? Paul, a man who spent many years terrorizing, imprisoning and killing Christians. God forgave him and He ended up writing one fourth of the New Testament! He goes on to say in Romans 10:12-13, "For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to those who call upon Him. For 'whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.' " That means me. That means you.

If you want the free gift of salvation and all it entails (forgiveness, healing, prosperity, deliverance, safety, rescue, liberation, and restoration), ask for it now. Don't worry about fancy words. God understands plain English. Say something like this: "Father, I am a sinner. You know what I've done. Your Word says if I call on Your name I will be saved. Take my sins away with the blood of Jesus, every sin I've ever committed. Jesus, be my Lord. Fill me with Your Spirit. I give you my life. You are now my Lord and Savior. Thank you for saving me into Your family."

If you prayed that prayer, whether you feel it or not, you are not the same person. You have been reborn as a child of God. You are not a stranger anymore. You are in the family, an heir. And as an heir you have rights and privilages. Look into the Word of God and find out what belongs to you. Visit this page each week and hear messages of faith that will build you up. Talk to God. He's right there. He will never leave you or forsake you. And try to find a church that really believes the (whole) Word of God and will stand with you.
